When you post a project, funds are held in escrow by a third-party payment processor. Money is only released to the freelancer after you approve the deliverables. This protects your investment and ensures quality work.
The freelancer submits their work. You have 5 business days to review. During this time, funds remain in escrow.
If work needs changes, request revisions in writing. Most freelancers include revision rounds. Timeline depends on the scope of changes.
Approve and release payment, or dispute the work. If disputed, our team investigates within 7 days. We evaluate quality, scope match, and contractual compliance.
If the freelancer does not submit deliverables within the agreed timeline, you can request a full refund. Automatic refund after 14 days of non-delivery.
Work significantly does not meet specifications or quality standards outlined in the contract. Must be documented with specific issues.
Deliverables do not match the project scope. If the freelancer misunderstood or failed to deliver agreed features.
Work is technically sound but does not meet your expectations. Refunds are negotiable; we mediate between parties.
Professional plan subscriptions ($99/month) can be cancelled anytime. Refunds for partial months are pro-rated based on usage days. Enterprise contracts have custom terms.
